Redeem Yourselves: Sent 100% Of Gold 'mech Profits To Charity.

Let's do that again. The Gold 'mechs are ridiculous and have caused nothing short of a full scale riot, so let's turn that around, shalt we?
Announce that 100% of the profits made from Gold 'mechs should go to a charity of your choice. Turn what is to be a laughing stock stain into a sign of good will instead, and maybe, just maybe, dull some anger towards this.
So come on PGI. Do a real Christmas miracle. Give that Gold to the needy.

I'll stand by my conviction that your poll is a fail because it is biased and only supports the conclusion that only your opinion is the right one, and anyone who disagrees with the first option is wrong.
So I say again, fail poll is fail.
Oh, and your "Full scale riot" is really 20 people posting relentlessly in the same thread. It's a threadnaut to be sure, but it's really about nothing. Which by the way, you have almost 100 posts in that thread, which means you have almost 10 pages of it dedicated strictly to your opinion on the topic.
You Forumites are so damn cute. It's a shame that you actually lack the foresight that God granted the common dog.

I'd be a lot less one-track on killing those gold 'mechs if they were symbols of a donation, I'll say that.

Hi, how's it going?
Why such a biased poll?
I do not feel that they should use proceeds to charity, I donate to the needy as often as I purchase MC.

...the donation of a BattleTech/MechWarrior fan to the one BattleTech/MechWarrior game option there is right now.
You want to donate $500 to a charity? Do it directly. Let those who would spend money on this game do their part to help make sure it lasts long enough for the features we are waiting on to actually appear in game.
Why should anybody who doesn't want to spend $500 on the game even care about giving somebody the option to do so? What's your problem with it?

Gold mechs are a great way for PGI to get high-rolling whales to subsidize the free players. Vanity rides with limited numbers available for sale equipped with prominant (and very easy to pick out in a fight) bling skins are pretty much an ideal revenue stream for any f2p game company to exploit.
In short, chill.

Serving the poor bowls of soup so you cab feel better about yourself is not as beneficial as taking them into bonded servitude.
